I am a wife, mother, grandmother and now photographer.   I have spent most of my life taking care of those I love, but now I am taking some time to pursue some passions and interests.  There is beauty all around us in nature and also in each one of us.  I find great joy in taking pictures, and in capturing that beauty.

As a child I watched my dad spend lots of time photographing the great outdoors. A special memory for me was on one of our many trips to Yosemite, my dad wanted to hike around looking for some great shots.  He saw the perfect spot to get a pic of the falls in a meadow tall with grass and deep in mosquitoes.  It was absolutely beautiful in that meadow.

Landscape photography has a special place in my heart, but recently I have begun to dabble in portraits.  It has been fun getting to take pictures of people as they are celebrating things like birthdays, engagements and seniors pictures.
